{"id":755,"date":"2022-11-28T14:32:12","date_gmt":"2022-11-28T14:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/duty-free-club.ru\/?p=755"},"modified":"2022-11-29T11:49:52","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T11:49:52","slug":"duty-free-world-council-president-sarah-branquinho-speaks-at-meadfa-annual-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/duty-free-club.ru\/duty-free-world-council-president-sarah-branquinho-speaks-at-meadfa-annual-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Duty Free World Council President Sarah Branquinho speaks at MEADFA annual conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Duty Free World Council President Sarah Branquinho<\/strong> has spoken at the 2022 <strong>Middle East &amp; Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) annual conference<\/strong> on behalf of the Duty Free: Trusted, Transparent, Secure campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the final session of day one, Branquinho discussed the impact of illicit trade and counterfeiting on our duty and tax free industry, and the reputational harm caused by criminal activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIllicit trade, counterfeiting and intellectual property theft are global challenges requiring a global commitment. Too often, fake goods sold in the domestic market are fraudulently labelled as \u201cduty free\u201d in order to mask their illicit origins.
